Victor started playing football in his freshman year. Before that he had played seven years of soccer. In his freshman year his playing time was limited to punting for the Rockets. His first punt ever was a 35-yarder. As a sophomore, Victor started at wide receiver, free safety, and punter. In his first year on varsity the kicking coach discovered him working out in the gym and convinced him to work on place kicking. He split time place kicking with a senior during his junior year and took over the place kicking and punting job himself as a senior. As a senior, Victor received special teams MVP and “Iron Man” for not missing a practice.

In addition to playing football, Victor wrestled for three years. He joined the John Glenn snowboarding club and spends time in the summer wakeboarding. He also participated in Habitat For Humanity with his church, Prince of Peace, for several summers in different states.

Victor thanked his parents and sister for, “always being right there with me and pushing me to give 110% in school and sports.” He thanked Coach Todd Deluca and the John Glenn coaching staff for, “helping every little way they could help me progress.” He gave a “big thanks” to Coach Catarino, “He is the one that has taught me everything I know about kicking and punting and encouraged positive thinking with,  ‘worry about the next one kid’.”
