Tyler is the son of Dean and Jill Bradfield. He has an older sister, Erika, who attends Grand Valley State University and has won three consecutive National Championships as a member of the women’s soccer team.

Tyler started playing football in the third grade. In high school, he played one year of JV and was moved up to varsity his sophomore year. He was a three-year varsity starter who was very versatile, playing both sides of the ball and special teams during the course of his career. In his last season, Tyler led the Rams in all-purpose yards, receiving yards, and was second in tackles. His contributions helped his team win both a conference and district championship. Tyler was selected as captain his senior year and received the team MVP award. He helped lead the Rams to OK Red Conference Championships in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and a District Championship in 2015

Tyler is also an excellent hockey player. He played travel hockey for six years. In high school, he played one year of varsity and then chose to give up the sport to focus on his football career. Tyler also participated in track and field as a sprinter for four years earning his varsity letter each spring.

Tyler thanked his family, “for their love and support through my years of football.” He thanked his coaches, “for pushing me and making me a better player.” He thanked his teammates, “for the fun and memories made through the years.”
