Tory began playing football when he was in the third grade. He was part of the Zeeland Rocket Football Program. Tory primarily played defensive tackle as a young athlete and offensive tackle from the seventh to the tenth grade. During his junior year, Tory transferred back to playing defensive tackle. A two-year varsity letterman, Tory had the determination and inspiration to become a better player and worked very hard preparing himself for his last year of high school football. A starting defensive tackle during his senior year, he and his teammates earned the OK Green Conference Championship Title.
Tory will continue his education and football career at Grand Valley State University. Tory thanked his parents, family and friends for all of their support. He also thanked the City of Zeeland for being big football fans and the Zeeland Athletic Boosters for their support. “Thank you to all the businesses and individuals that sponsored me in this event, your support made this possible for me.”

Thank you also to Coach Turner and the Zeeland East Coaching Staff for your influence during my first three years of high school.”
