College: Southwestern Michigan College

Tom is the son of Tim and Jan Reed. He has one brother, Adam, and two sisters, Jessica and Angel.

Tom has played football competitively since the age of eight. He was a two year varsity starter and a captain his senior year. Tom was two years all conference and the Detroit Free Press all state defensive captain. He was able to play in two state championship games. He was the quarterback and starting safety both years on varsity. 

Tom was also a varsity wrestler and baseball player all four years of high school. He was a three year all conference wrestler, along with making all state his senior year. As a team, they attended team state three of his years in high school. In baseball, Tom was honorable mention all conference all three years.

Tom attend Southwestern Michigan College before transferring to Central Michigan to receive his doctoral degree. He thanked “God and my parents for the opportunity to be in this situation.” Tom also thanked his coaches and the community “for pushing me throughout my high school career.”
