Coach Conley has been a teacher and athletic director for 18 years. He graduated from Troy HS and from Michigan State University with a degree in Education he earned his Master’s in the Art of Teaching at Marygrove College. While at MSU Tim wrestled all four years and was a varsity letter winner. As a senior he was Academic All Big 10. 

Tim is in his 21st year of coaching, he started coaching football and wrestling in the Troy School District in 1992, in 1998 he became the Head Wrestling Coach at Southfield High School and in 2005 he took over the Head Football Coaching duties at Southfield.

Tim established many “firsts” in Southfield athletics. These include two OAA league and two district titles as well as two Oakland County individual champions in wrestling, and as head football coach, his teams have earned four playoff appearances three district championships and one regional championship as well as four Academic All State Team awards. 

Tim said, “I attribute the success of my teams not only to talented athletes, but to outstanding associates who I have learned from and grown with professionally. I am excited for the opportunity to work with the best coaches and players from the East Side of the State of Michigan.” 

Tim is married to Chantal Dixon and has a step-son Miguel, he thanked them “for their support in his carrier and coaching,” and also recognized “Tom Conley and Gary Griffith of Troy HS for their years patience and mentorship.”
