Sean started playing football in the eighth grade. He became a three-year varsity starter on both sides of the ball for the Pinckney Pirates. He was brought up his sophomore year and played reciever, wingback, and cornerback and also was a dangerous punt and kick returner. He was then moved to quarterback for his senior season and was named one of the team captains.
Sean was also a three-year varsity basketball player. He was a two-year starting point guard in his junior and senior seasons. During these two seasons he was selected to the All-Kensington Valley Conference team.
Sean said, “I have a lot of people to thank. First, I thank God for blessing me with athletism and good health.” He thanked, “God and my family, the reason I’m here today. Finally, I thank all my coaches especially on varsity for pushing me and making me the player I am today.”
