Reggie said, “As a kid I loved sports, I love to watch and play them.” Reggie’s coaches considered him a “coachable player.” He was named one of the captains and was a strong leader, who was “dependable and could be counted on by both coaches and peers.
Reggie was a member of the National Honor Society and JROTC. He also played baseball, and was a member of the track team at Frederick Douglass.
