Assistant Coach – Perry Baranic

Perry Baranic graduated from Caro High School in 1974. He was a Detroit Free Press first team all state selection in 1973. Perry began his coaching career at Caro High School in 1978 and remained there until 2006. During that time he served as defensive coordinator and specialized in line play. From 2007 to 2011 Perry has been coaching at Centreville High School serving as the defensive coordinator and head coach of the boys’ track team. 

Coach Baranic and his wife of 37 years, Janelle, have three children; Jennifer Stephens is a guidance counselor at Saginaw Valley State University, Brett Baranic is a technology teacher and varsity football coach in Goshen, Indiana, and Stefanie Baranic is an outdoor recreation major at Central Michigan University and also works full-time at Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation. 

Perry said, “It is an absolute honor to be able to coach in the all star game. I appreciate the chance to work on a staff of outstanding coaches, including my son Brett, and with the athletes that carry on the tradition of excellence in Michigan high school football.”
