Michael began playing football in third grade for St. Michael Grade School in Livonia. Michael was a three-year starter on varsity at center for Divine Child and was a captain his senior year. In his freshman year, he played fullback on the JV team.

Michael was also a defenseman for the Divine Child varsity hockey team where he lettered for four years. The Falcons advanced to the semi-finals three of those four years. Michael was assistant captain of the hockey team his junior and senior year.

Michael said, “I am especially thankful to his dad who has been my number one supporter and inspiration through many motivational talks.” Mike also thanked his coaches, faculty and teachers, fellow students and teammates, for the privilege to learn and play with them and for their good wishes as he advances to the next level.

Michael will continue his education and football career at Wayne State University. He plans to study criminal justice and “perhaps” law. He will explore careers in the secret service or becoming a US Marshall.
