Marouf Hamade

Marouf’s parents names are Mona and Sam Hamade. He has one sister and one brother. Reem (22) is currently attending Detroit Mercy Dental School. Ahmad (21) is currently attending Wayne State University Law School.

Marouf started playing football when he was in third grade. He has played offensive and defensive line for ten years. A two-year varsity starter at Fordson High School, Marouf gained 70 pounds in one off-season between his junior and senior years. At the end of his senior season, Marouf was awarded All City, All League, All Metro West First Team O Line/ D line, All State Honorable Mention, Offensive Line MVP, and Team MVP.

Marouf also played basketball during his senior year and was All City and received the Coaches Award.

Marouf said, “I thank my brother for being my mentor through life, my family for always being there for me, my uncle Hussein for training me in the off-season, and most importantly I thank Coach Hamid and Coach Zaban for training me to my full potential every day during the season. I will attend Lake Erie College next fall, to play football.”
