Kyle was an integral part of the Oakridge varsity football team for three years. In Kyle’s three year career the Eagles won the 2005 Division 5 State Championship, three West Michigan Conference Championships, and had a record of 33 wins and 4 losses. Kyle has been an Eagle captain, a defensive starting cornerback, a wide receiver, and a kick-off and punt returner.
As a sophomore, Kyle qualified for the state high jump finals in track and tied for 4th with a jump of 6’3″.
Kyle thanked his coaches for “everything they taught me, not only about football, but about life as well. He also thanked “all the team mates I have played with. They helped me work to be what I am today.” Kyle would like to give special thanks to his parents for being there no matter what, and to his brothers who are the people he always looked up to.
