Assistant Coach Ken Rimer
Constantine High School

Ken Rimer is a 1968 graduate of Cody High School, Detroit, where he lettered in football and track. Ken attended Ottawa University, Kansas, his freshman year and lettered in football. He received his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in 1976.

Coach Rimer began his coaching career at Constantine High School in 1982. and was a JV coach for eight years. In 1990, Tim Baker became the Head Coach of the Falcons and asked Coach Rimer to be his assistant coach and Defensive Coordinator. During that time, the Falcons have an overall record of 117-35. They have won seven St. Joe Valley League titles, made the MHSAA Playoffs seven times and were Class CC Finalists in 1994 and Division 5 Finalists in 2002.

Two outstanding events happened to Ken in the 2002 season: He was able to coach his son Kyle in the Silver Dome and he was chosen as MHSFCA Assistant Coach of the Year. In addition Kyle was selected All State Defensive Back.

Most of the success of the Falcons goes to the fantastic athletes who go through Consantine High School and the “great” coaching staff in the system. Ken also credits the support of his family from all over the state, his wife of 33 years, Jan, son Kyle and daughter Sara.
