Justin has an older brother, Joey and two younger brothers, John and Gino. His parents are Joe D’Agostino and Ginnelle Ministrelli.

Justin started playing football in seventh grade. In his first year of football, he was a defensive and offensive lineman. In eighth grade he moved to running back and linebacker positions where he has played ever since. Justin attended Detroit Catholic Central for all four years of high school. In his freshman year, he started at tailback and linebacker and was moved up to varsity half way through the season. In his sophomore year, he started at linebacker and kicker. In his junior year, he again started at linebacker and kicker and the team won the 2009 State Championship. In his senior season, Justin started at kicker, fullback, and linebacker and the team won the District Championship. Justin was  named the team’s MVP in his senior year.

Justin also ran track and threw discus for Detroit Catholic Central’s track & field team for four years.

Justin said, “I would first like to thank God because without Him nothing would be possible. I thank my family and friends for supporting me all my life. I also thank my coaches for making me a better football player and a better person.”
