Highland Park Community High School wide receiver, Joshua J. Frye, was an All MEGA Conference Gold Division and All Detroit selection. A three-year varsity starter, Frye caught four touchdown passes as a sophomore, six in his junior year, when he was named second team All-MEGA Gold, and seven in his senior year. He is only the third Highland Park football player to get selected to play in the MHSFCA All Star Football Game. The versatile Frye also started at defensive end for his varsity years.
The 6’4,” 200 pound Frye also played varsity basketball for two seasons, starting at center and serving as team captain in his senior year. Also a three-year member of the track and field team, Frye was a long jumper, 300 meter hurdler, and 4 x 800 meter and 4 x 200 meter relay lead man.
A “B” student, Frye plans a college major in computer science and a career in professional football and/or as a computer repair shop owner.
In a football career which began with the North Detroit Jets in the Police Athletic League (PAL). Frye is ready to take his skills to the collegiate level and, he hopes, beyond.
