Jordan was a versatile three-year starter for the Pirates where he played offensive tackle and guard and defensive end and linebacker. He was part of a 40 consecutive conference victory streak record (still running), three conference, three district, and two regional championships. As a team captain, he helped lead the Pirates to the state finals at Ford Field. In his three years on varsity, the Pirates amassed an overall record of 35-4. He holds the #1, 3, and 10 spots in season blocking percentages at Fulton and anchored a massive offensive line that helped pave the way for several school records including most rushing yards (4,631) and total yards (5,920) in a season. He posted 96 tackles and 14 sacks on defense his senior year.

Jordan played two years of varsity basketball and four years of varsity track. He was named first team all state and academic all state his junior year in shotput and discus. While maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being class valedictorian, Jordan was also president of National Honor Society and Student Council and was a member of Business Professionals of America, Quiz Bowl, Science Olympiad, and the Apathy Busters Club.

Jordan thanked his teammates, “you were my friends, teammates, and most of all my brothers,” the Fulton community for their support, ABC for being “the best student section around”, and the Athletic Boosters. He also thanked his coaching staff: Winks, Papa Winks, Boone, Joe, Waldron, and Doc Osborn. To Coach Sheahan he said, “Over the last four years, you have stuck by me and made huge personal sacrifices. You have molded me into the athlete and young man I am today. There is nothing I could ever do to thank you enough for everything you have done for me.” Jordan thanked his entire family for “their undying love and support” and specifically thanked his mother for being “the craziest and most obnoxious mom on the team. It was awesome.”

Jordan plans to play football at Harvard or Carnegie Mellon, or to attend the University of Michigan or Northwestern and study engineering.
