Jordan was a two-year starter on the varsity playing wide receiver and defensive back. He also returned kickoffs and punts. He received the honors of MVP his junior year and All Area in his senior year. During Jordan’s Northview football career, he set the mark for touchdowns in a game (a record he set twice), receptions in a single game (13), he finished 3rd all time in receiving yards, he finished 2nd all-time in touchdown receptions, and 1st all-time with career receptions. The OK White Conference gave him honorable mention accolades in both his junior and senior seasons. Jordan was voted All Area by the Grand Rapids Press and the Advance Newspapers following his senior season.
Jordan was also a two-year starter on the Northview basketball team. He was elected captain of the football and basketball teams during his senior year.
Jordan thanked his mom and Terry for “always being there and supporting me.” He thanked, “my wonderful family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins for their support.” He also thanked his coaches and teammates for “believing in me and helping me become a better young man on and off the field. With their encouragement and hard work this was all made possible.”
Jordan will continue his academic and football career at Grand Rapids Community College this fall.
