Jon was a two-year, two-way starter for the Falcons. In his junior year he helped lead the Falcons to the state finals. As a senior he was named captain and helped lead the Falcons to an undefeated regular season. Jon led the team in tackles with 115, 79 of which were solo. He was named Defensive MVP by his teammates. On offense he was the Falcon’s second leading rusher and scorer.
Jon also lettered in wrestling and in track. He earned All County honors as a junior in the discus. In the summers, Jon has helped out at youth football camps.
Jon thanked his family and friends for their constant support. He also thanked, “all the coaches who have helped me over the years. Without the support of my friends and family I don’t think any of this would be possible.” Finally, he thanked all of the fans who have supported him and the Falcons over the years.
