Assistant Coach Jim Webb

Jim is a 1976 graduate of Davison High School. He earned his BA and MA from CMU. Jim started his teaching and coaching career at Hartford Public Schools where he taught Math and Computer Science. During his 18 years at Hartford he coached basketball for 7 years, track for 18 years, and football for 15 years. In his last 10 years at Hartford, Jim also served as AD. As head football coach, the Hartford football teams compiled a record of 78-20, won 8 conference championships, qualified for playoffs 5 times, and won the Class CC State Championship in 1993 going a perfect 13-0.
In 1998 Jim and his family moved to Cadillac. Since then, Cadillac was conference champs in 2000, and District Champs in 2005 and 2006 and qualified for the playoffs in 2000, 2001, 2005, and 2006. Through his coaching career in football, Jim has been voted regional coach of the year 6 times, Class CC State Coach of the Year once and has an overall record of 118-89.

Jim’s wife, Deb, teaches at Cadillac as well. She has touched many young lives during her career as she has coached basketball, volleyball, softball, and track. Jim’s 2 sons, Jared (14) and Logan (12) are currently active in football and basketball. “Together they have always been huge fans and my biggest supporters. I really could not have endured this long without their support and love.”
