Jeff was a three-time most valuable linemen for Monroe High. He was a two-time All League selection. In 2005 he was second team Associated Press All State, a member of the 2005 Detroit Free Press Dream Team, a finalist of the National Football Foundation’s Great Eight, and a Reebok Sports Illustrated pre-season All American. He also finished third in the state in the MHSAA wrestling tournament heavyweight division.
Jeff thanked his mother and father for everything they have done for him. He also thanked his coaches. Especially coach Hudkins, coach Reed, coach McCollum, coach Mossburg, coach Hochradel and coach Giarmo. He also thanked coaches Finnegan, Polizzie and Vallade. He thanked his friends, the Monroe Mothers Club, and the Monroe First Downers for everything they have done.
