Jared’s first two years of high school ball were as part of the freshman and then JV teams, where he played both quarterback and free safety. In his junior year he earned a spot as the starting free safety where he made 90 tackles and had 5 interceptions, in 10 games. In his senior year he once again played both sides of the ball, this time as the starting running back and the starting free safety. As a senior he ran for 900 yards and 12 touchdowns, and had 300 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 50 tackles and 4 interceptions.

Jared will attend Saginaw Valley State University to play football on scholarship and continue his academic studies.

Jared thanked his mother, uncles, coaches, and all the mentors, “that have helped raise me, and helped build me into the man and football player I am today.”
