Jared Cutlip is the son of Dave and Nicole Cutlip and is the eldest of six children.

Jared started playing tackle football in the seventh grade. He had his break-out year as a sophomore when he made the All Conference team for Stevenson and was part of the Macomb County All Star Team. Jared was a three-year starter in football and is the school record holder in solo tackles. As a senior Jared was named first team All State by the Detroit Free Press and captained the All Metro East Team. He also scored ten touchdowns as a running back.

     Jared is from a long family tradition of athletics. His great grandfather, L Dean Cutlip, played for Illinois Wesleyan. His grandfather placed second in the Mr. Michigan body building competition. His grandmother, Martha, was voted top female athlete of her high school class and his father, David, captained the 1993 Western Michigan Broncos.

     Jared gave “A special thank you to Nicole and Emily Cutlip for working together and providing a nurturing home life that fostered my academic, athletic and personal growth.”

Jared will attend Brown University and plans to study business.
