Jake’s football career began in sixth grade when he played for the St. Frances Cabrini CYO team. From sixth through eighth grades he was coached by his father, which helped cement his love for the game. Throughout high school, Jake dedicated himself to being an impact player. He became a two-way starter in his sophomore year and was either first or second in total tackles all three of his varsity years.
Jake also played three years of varsity hockey, a year of varsity tennis, two years of rugby, and two years of travel basketball.
Jake thanked his parents and family for their continuous support and encouragement. He also offered thanks to his high school coaches, especially Coach Brian Obrycki and Mark Shea, who “always pushed me to exceed expectations, and never to settle for mediocrity.”
