Giovanni’s parents are Antonio and Lisa Rescigno. He has two brothers, Angelo (16), and Antonio (9), and a sister Carmela (12).
Giovanni started playing quarterback in the third grade and has played the position since. His statistics include 1500 yards passing, 18 touchdowns passing, five touchdowns rushing with 600 yards rushing in his senior season. Giovanni was selected as team captain and Most Valuable Player.
The Pilot basketball team also enjoyed Giovanni’s participation.
Giovanni thanked his parents, Antonio and Lisa, Coach Ron, Coach Verska, Coach Lewis and Coach Nick for their contributions to his successes in the classroom and on the football field.
