Garrett was a three year starter and a two-year captain of the Heritage Hawks. In Garrett’s sophomore year, he helped his team win a district championship. He played both offensive center and defensive tackle, in his junior and senior years, Gagnon started both ways. He started playing center in his junior year. He was voted most valuable offensive and defensive lineman for two years.
Garrett’s other accomplishments include being a captain on the baseball team where he was a two year starter. Garrett was an honor student throughout high school, maintaining a 3.7 GPA. Garrett will continue his education and football playing career at Saginaw Valley State University.
Garrett thanked his parents for supporting him throughout his athletic career. He also thanked the entire coaching staff at Heritage for the hard work they put in and all the great memories. Garrett was, “honored to have such great teammates at Heritage over the last four years.”
