Gage is the son of Paul and Deanna.  His grandparents are Dan and MaryAnn Kreski, Tom and Pam Sutton, and Tom and Karen Boger. 

Gage started playing football in the fifth grade.  He moved to varsity his freshman season during the playoffs where his team finished as state semi-finalists.  During his sophomore season, he played wide receiver catching 44 passes for 833 yards and 10 touchdowns; he also intercepted a school record 12 passes as a defensive back.  Gage moved to quarterback after his sophomore year and also played safety.  Gage was a three-year team MVP and captain.  St. Ignace finished as a state semi-finalist his senior season before losing to the eventual state champions.  The Saints were conference champions for four straight years with an overall record of 43 – 7.  Gage will play football at CMU.

Gage was a three-sport athlete at St. Ignace and left with ten varsity letters.  He was a three-time Conference Player of the Year in basketball and a three-time First Team All-State selection.  Gage was the AP Class C Player of the Year his senior season in basketball and holds the state record for career steals (466).  He scored 2,178 points over his four year career.        

Gage was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council, and maintained a 3.98 grade point average throughout high school.  He thanked his parents, grandparents, coaches and teammates for all of their support, advice and hard work throughout his athletic career.
