Enoch has earned numerous awards while playing for Michael Crayton at Detroit Northwestern, and was recognized as team captain and starter in the past two years. In his junior and senior years Enoch had a total of 257 tackles and 30 sacks, averaging 15 tackles and 4.5 sacks per game. He was ranked eighth in the nation with 19 sacks in his senior year on MaxPreps.com. Enoch helped Detroit Northwestern make history by going to the City and State Playoffs two years in a row for the first time in over 30 years.

Enoch Young also had a very good academic career along with his outstanding athletic career at Detroit Northwestern. He was trained to stay in shape and trains all throughout the year.

Enoch said, “I had more than enough fun playing for Northwestern. I’ve played with a lot of talented, skillful, and determined players.” Enoch said, “I would like to give thanks to God first, and a big thanks to all the coached that put their time and effort into the program at Detroit Northwestern High School and for making me the player I am today.” Enoch thanked his teachers, family, friends, fans, “and everyone who supported me in my high school career in football.”
