Inside Linebacker
6’1″ 215 lbs.
High School Coach: John Bechtel
High School: Farmington, A
College: Northern Michigan University
Eddie began his football career in 7th grade when he played middle linebacker for the Power Middle School Gladiators where he earned two straight perfect seasons. He then matured and became a two-year starter at middle linebacker for the Farmington Falcons. In both years of his two-year career he led the team in tackles (244), forced fumbles (7), tackles for loss (31) and blocked kicks (4). His dedication in the off-season earned him team captain and later team MVP honors. He also set two school records: career tackles with 244, and single season tackles with 140 his senior year. He is fourth on the single-season records list with 104 tackles his junior year. After a disappointing junior season for the Falcons, Eddie along with some other teammates, turned things around and spent the majority of their summer in the weight room and film room. It paid off their senior season with six straight wins in the regular season. Eddie will continue his success at Northern Michigan University where he will play middle linebacker.
Eddie is also part of the Farmington baseball team, where he started at third base and batted third in the lineup. Farmington’s baseball team is one of the most highly ranked teams in Michigan.
Eddie thanked his mother, “first and foremost, for always being the first person there to support me through everything.” He also thanked his father, stepfather, girlfriend, brother and sister for showing up to watch all the games they could and showing him support.
