Dylan is the son of Brian and Mary Otolski.  His older sister, Mariah (20) plays soccer for Aquinas College.  Dylan’s younger sister Tatum (13) plays club volleyball. 

Dylan started playing football in second grade and his dad, who also played college ball, coached him through middle school.  As a sophomore and junior he played wide receiver on varsity and his senior year he played both wide receiver and safety, rarely coming off the field.  He will play for Cornell University in the fall while studying industrial labor relations. In addition to football, he was a member of the National Honor Society and coached his high school Special Olympics basketball team.

Dylan attributes his competitive nature to his parents and thanked them for continually pushing him to be the best player, student and person.  “I am  especially thankful for my sisters who are my  number one fans and my uncles and aunts in Grand Rapids for cheering me on.”  In addition Dylan gave,  “A special thanks to my  high school coaches and to Bryan Anderson, who has been a mentor and role model to me.”
