Dylan is the son of David Mulder and Renee Mulder. He lives with his family in Saline, Michigan. Dylan has three siblings: Ashley (22), Kyle (19), and Taylor (14). Kyle lives at home and attends Eastern Michigan University, and Taylor currently attends Saline High School. Ashley is a student at Grand Valley State University.
Dylan’s football career began in sixth grade while playing in a local tackle football league. This is when Dylan began kicking. He continued to kick throughout middle school and by the time he was in high school, he started to attend camps to improve his skills. As high school progressed, Dylan’s abilities as a kicker helped him become ranked among the best kickers in the country. After a year of freshman and a year of junior varsity football, Dylan had his first varsity start in the opening game of his junior year. Dylan’s success allowed him to serve as a two-year varsity starter for the Hornets. Dylan ended his varsity career a perfect 58/58 on extra points, a career long field goal of 47 yards, and during his senior year was 39 touchbacks for 42 kickoffs.
Other than football, Dylan participated in track his freshman and sophomore years and excelled greatly with his team. He competed in several varsity events during those two years. Dylan also worked out with his teammates daily to improve his strength and skills.
Dylan thanked Mike Glennie and the rest of his coaching staff for “providing me with the opportunities in games and guidance throughout the years.” He also thanked his family, “especially my parents for being there for me no matter what.” His parents sent him to as many camps as possible and were there to support him at every game. Dylan said, “I could always count on the support of my parents and the rest of my family through anything during my high school football career.
