Dylan is the son of Troy and Linda Carroll. He has one sister, Shelby (20), also attending Grand Valley State University. His greatest fans throughout the years have been his extended family. “They have been there for support at all of my games.” Dylan was a three-sport student athlete achieving a 3.6 GPA.
Dylan started football in the fourth grade playing for the Junior Raiders and has played every year since. “I have enjoyed my years with my teammates and developing into the great team we became.” As a freshman, sophomore and junior, Dylan played tight end and defensive end. His senior year he was moved to offensive guard and his team made it all the way to the 2012 State Champions for Division 5. His senior season was “quite an exciting achievement. Our community was extremely supportive throughout the entire football season, which made it that much more of a rewarding experience.” Dylan has accepted a scholarship to play football and attend Grand Valley State University.
“I thank my family for being behind me every step of the way and supporting me in everything I do. I also thank my coaches for developing me into the player I am today and know that without them I wouldn’t be here. I thank my teammates, because they have always had my back and they are the reason why I have been a part of winning the 2012 State Championship for Division 5, which has been a dream come true for me.”
