CJ started playing organized football at the age of eight. He was
moved up as an offensive linemen for the state playoffs his sophomore
year. His junior year he was the only starting junior on an offensive
line that averaged 9.2 yards per rushing down. During his senior year he was the
long and short snapper and also turned into a two-way player at defensive end. He
was the leader of the offensive line and helped them advance to the state playoffs for the
seventh consecutive year.

CJ also participated in baseball all four years. CJ can be found in the weight room all the
time. In high school he maintained a 3.0 GPA

CJ thanked his family members for coming and supporting him and always being there
to watch him play. He thanked his head football coach Brad Bush for teaching him how to
be the football player and person he is today. He thanked Coach Taylor, the strength and
conditioning coach, “for the mental attitude he kept in the weight room and for knowing
how to get the most out of me everyday.” He also thanked all the other football coaches for
their great work and dedication to Chelsea Football. CJ thanked his teammates and fans
for cheering and always being there and helping to carry on the great tradition of Chelsea
football. He will attend Saginaw Valley State University on scholarship.
