Carvel Wilkins

College: Northwood University

 

Carvell was one of the team captains and started in three different positions his senior year: fullback, middle line backer, and defensive line. His first year, playing middle linebacker, Carvell had over 100 tackles finishing in the top five in Oakland County. Carvell also played fullback and led the team in touchdowns and yards, averaging 5.5 yards per carry and rushing for over 100 yards in several of his games. He was named Kimball’s Most Valuable Player, Most Valuable Offensive Player, Junkyard Dog, and Most Spirited.

 

Carvell earned his letter in track his freshman year and was All Region in 2003. At Kimball Carvell was involved in Varsity Club, Student Leader, Student Government for two years, and The Diversity Club.

 

Carvell thanked his family, friends, boosters, teammates, and the faculty members of Kimball High School for their hard work and support. He especially thanked Mr. Neville and Coach Powers for their extra support through his high school years.
