Bryce Rucker

Outside Linebacker

5’11″ 195 lbs.

High School: Battle Creek Central, A

College: Northwood University

 

Bryce was a three-year starter for Battle Creek Central at linebacker. Bryce set Battle Creek Central’s all time single season tackling record with 126 tackles in nine games during the 2003 season. In 2004 he was the team captain and helped lead the bearcats to an 8-3 record as well as an appearance in the district finals. Bryce was a two­-year All City and All Conference First Team selection. In 2004 the Detroit Free Press awarded him First Team All State for his performance at linebacker. Bryce will attend Northwood University and play safety for the Timberwolves.

 

Bryce also participated in baseball throughout his high school career.

Bryce said, “I want to thank God most importantly for blessing me with the talents, the will, and the people in my life that have allowed me to achieve on and off the playing field. I also want to thank my mother for raising me and being the strong and amazing woman that she is. She is truly my greatest blessing. I want to thank all my coaches for their support and guidance, especially Coach Slamer, Doug Bess, and Mike VanSyckle, as well as my friends and the many friends of our family.”
