Brandon is the youngest son of Vincent and Tracy M. Bean. His siblings are Philip Michael (27) and Brandis Nicole (21). 

Brandon lettered four years in football, basketball and track.

Although he enjoyed a variety of athletic experiences during high school, his favorite sport was football. Brandon was considered by his coaches as a multipurpose, utility athlete, with extraordinary leadership ability. He enjoyed playing on special teams, the defensive position of outside linebacker, as well as receiver on offense. Brandon served as captain his senior year, however, his career was interrupted due to a broken ankle, sustained while catching a touchdown pass.

During his sophomore year, he was privileged to play in the 2010 State Semi-final championship basketball game, where he played power forward and specialized in attacking the boards for rebounds. During track season, Brandon excelled in such events as long jump, high jump and hurdles.

Brandon also attends Romulus Community Baptist Church, where he has served as an usher and participated in numerous hours of community service.
