Ben has played football since 4th grade. He has been a starter for the past three seasons for the Cheboygan Chiefs, two in the Big North Conference and this season in the Straits Area Conference in which Cheboygan finished in first place. Ben played offensive guard and offensive tackle. He also played defensive line occasionally. Ben was voted Most Valuable Offensive Lineman by his teammates. He was named Traverse City Record Eagle Second Team Offense All Region. Ben was captain his senior year.
Ben played basketball and baseball for four years for the Chiefs. He also played American Legion Baseball for the past four summers. He enjoys hunting with his dad, brother, uncles and cousins. He also enjoys bowling. Ben has a cumulative gpa of 3.5 and will go to college for teaching and coaching.
Ben thanked his family, coaches, teammates, the junior chiefs, and the Cheboygan Chiefs football staff for all their support and encouragement throughout the years.
