Aubrey began playing football in fourth grade, and was a starter throughout his middle and high school career. In his senior season as running back and defensive back he helped to lead the Rams to a 9-2 season. Aubrey led the team in tackles with 93, 57 of which were solo. He also led the team in rushing with 165 carries for a total of 1,264 yards and 20 touchdowns. His achievements in his senior season include: First Team All State, G.A.C. 1st Team All-League, 1st Team Flint Journal All Area Football Team, and the 2004 Montrose Varsity Football Coaches Award.
Aubrey set a state record in his weight class for squats during the 2004 State Powerlifting Meet. Throughout his high school career he participated in basketball and track.
Aubrey’s academic and athletic accomplishments have won him a football scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he plans to major in Computer Engineering.
Aubrey thanked the Montrose football coaches, teachers, staff, and community for a warm welcome, and continued support. “Thanks to my number one fans, Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa you never missed a game!”
