Antonio started his love of football with the Detroit Dragons little league organization. Eventually, he joined the West Side Cubs and achieved success by winning his is first championship with the P.A.L.( Police Athletic League) organization.

Antonio is a student at the University of Central, a two-year starter and captain of the Trailblazer football team. In Antonio‘s junior year he was the recipient of the late great “Woodrow Woody Thomas Award”, Trailblazer of the Year and Unsung Hero. Other accolades include Detroit Free Press All Detroit Team and Michigan Chronicle All PSL (Public School League) acknowledgements. Last year Antonio played an essential role in leading his team to win a PSL Division B Championship.

Antonio is also a member of the Trailblazer track team. While sports have been an important factor for Antonio, he is also an excellent student. Antonio has successfully maintained a 3.0 grade point average.  

Antonio acknowledged and gave special thanks to “God and my family for continued support.” He gave a very special acknowledgement to his grandmother Antionette Lewis, “who has provided unwavering support and encouragement.”  Antonio also thanked his head football coach Eric L. Smith for “being a positive role model and providing  guidance, support and discipline.”

Antonio was undecided in his college selection. However he will attend college in the 2010 fall semester.
