Anthony’s mother is Cerese Gibson. Also important in his life is his grandmaother, Jewel Gibson.

Anthony started to play football at the age of seven. He said, “My passion for the sport grew early and continues to grow today.”

First and foremost, Anthony dedicated his high school career to playing football (and getting good grades). As a senior, he took up track and threw both the shot and disc.

Anthony said, “I thank my little league coaches and my mother, for raising me up properly. I thank my Grandma  Gibson, for helping me through my teen years and making sure I stayed out of trouble and stayed on the right track. I also thank the people in my athletic development, my little league coaches, Coach Griff, Coach Tom, Coach Steve, Coach Spank, Coach Rico and the all the rest.  I can’t thank them enough for bringing out the best in me and helping me develop a better work ethic. I also thank my high school counselor, Paul Deluge, who taught me a lot, kept me out of trouble in school as well as made sure I got my work done.”
