Detroit, MI—The Detroit Lions have named Adam Kipf of Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central High School the week five recipient of the 2025 Detroit Lions High School Football Coach of the Week Program, presented by Carhartt. Kipf’s Falcons defeated Carleton Airport 54-24 to move to 5-0 on the season. Through five games, the Falcons have scored 208 points, averaging 41.6 points per game. SMCC is currently ranked #1 in Division 7. On Friday, October 3rd, Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central travels to Milan to take on the Big Reds in the 31st matchup all-time between these two programs.
Kipf is in 23rd season coaching high school football, 20th season coaching at Monroe SMCC and in his 11th season as head coach. He’s led the Falcons to the playoffs in nine seasons with regional appearances in 2017, 2018, and 2022, a Division 7 state championship in 2019 and a state runner up appearance in 2024. Kipf has a career record of 85-33 (72 %) overall. He is a graduate of Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central and currently teaches social studies at the school.
