Tony is the son of Paul and Colleen Palmer. He has a twin sister Angela who will attend Central Michigan University to play lacrosse.  He also has on older sister Kara who attends Michigan State University.

Tony started playing football in the 4th grade. Tony played slot receiver on the varsity team for three seasons under Coach Jim Ahern. His junior season his team went 13-1 and got a chance to play at Ford Field for the Division 5 State Championship. Tony’s senior season, his team went 11-2 and lost in the Semi-Finals. He was voted a captain his senior season and he led the state in total return yardage.

            In addition to football, Tony played basketball and ran track. Tony’s senior season his basketball team went 19-2, winning the league championship. He was a Lansing State Journal All-Area member of the track team and got a chance to run in two events at the state meet.

            Tony wants to give a special thanks to his mom and dad for everything they have done for him the past 18 years. Tony also wants to thank his Grandpa and Grandma for always supporting him and his Papa and Nana for always being there for him. He also wants to thank his football coach, Jim Ahern, for always believing in him and helping him become a better person and player. In addition, he wants to thank his basketball coach, Eric Trojanowicz for always being there for him and pushing him every day. Lastly, Tony wants to thank his friends. He gave a “Special S/O to Riley, Joey, Mike, Robert, Liam, Owen.”
