Ryan Richardville

Running Back

College: Northwood University

 

Ryan started playing football at the age of eight for the Huron River Yellow Jackets as a center. At that time he fell in love with the game. He was moved up to varsity in his high school sophomore year as a running back. He ended his high school career with 3,500 yards rushing and 42 touchdowns. He also was First Team All Huron League and All Region in football. State qualifier, First Team All Huron League and All Region in Track and second team All State Running back for the Detroit Newspapers.

 

Ryan also played varsity basketball for one year and was a four year letter winner in track. He is currently the school record holder in the 100 meter dash and went to states as a sophomore in the 100 meter event.

 

Ryan maintained a 4.06 gpa, will graduate in the top ten of his class, is in the National Honor Society, DECA club, DARE role model and a member of St. Anne’s Church.

 

Ryan thanked, “all of my parents for always being there for me, also my very large family for always being the most supportive and largest part of the crowd. Special thanks to Joel for keeping my head in the game and everything in perspective. Thanks to all of my coaches from the Huron River League, and all the ones in between, through varsity. You all have taught me the game of football, but also the game of life. Thanks to the ‘8’ for always being there on the field or in the stands with your chest’s painted!”
