Nick is the son of Mark and Molly Pauzé. He has one older brother, John-Michael, a Marine, and two younger sisters, Maggie, in tenth grade and Teresa in eighth grade. 

 

Nick started tackle football playing in grade school for the Ann Arbor Saints, the first year the team was formed. He went on to play at Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor, playing both sides of the ball on varsity for three years. During his career there, he played on the team that reached the Catholic League finals three straight years, winning twice at Ford Field. The team also went on to Regional and District finals. As a member of the team, Nick achieved Class B First Team, All Conference, All Area, and All State awards.

 

Nick also played basketball, lettered in track and lacrosse and earned All State in lacrosse in 2011. Nick was a member of the National Honor Society, was involved in student government, and was a student leader with the Kairos leadership team.

 

Nick said, “I want to thank my parents for making countless sacrifices during my high school career as well as supporting me at every game. A big thanks goes to the Father Gabriel Richard community, as well as Coach Lemons and Coach Lawrence for giving me a chance and getting me noticed to play in this game. Finally I want to thank Jesus Christ because he gave me the ability to play football and blessed me with success and the opportunity to play in this All Star Game.”
