Micajah was selected to represent the United States in The inaugural IFAF Junior World Championship and represent Michigan in the 1st Annual Ohio vs. Michigan Elite High School Football All-Star Game. Micajah was a two-year, two-way starter for Coach Dan Boggan at Sexton HS. He was named to the Detroit Free Press and Lansing State Journal Dream Teams in 2008, and was a 1st Team AP Division 3-4 All-State selection as a senior, he anchored an offensive line that helped the Big Reds average 260 rushing yards and 27.5 points per game in 2008. Micajah recorded 37 “pancake” blocks as a senior. He also saw action in six games at defensive tackle in 2008 and produced 40 tackles, including three sacks, and recovered three fumbles. Micajah also earned all league honors in 2007 after helping Sexton average 31 points per game en route to an 8-4 record. He didn’t allow a sack as a junior.
In addition to football Micajah was a member of the Youth Action Committee board of the Capital Area Community Foundation. His service also included Habitat for Humanity, The Salvation Army, Trinity Church of Lansing and the Mid-Michigan Food Bank.
Micajah plans to major in business at Michigan State University.
