Kyle Myczkowiak

Inside Linebacker

College: Saginaw Valley State University

 

For the past three seasons Kyle played as a two-way starter for the Heritage Hawks, playing linebacker and running back. During each of those three years he was voted Most Valuable Defensive Player by his coaches. He also served as captain his junior and senior years. The Saginaw News selected Kyle to be a member of the Dream Team in 2003 and in 2004. Kyle led his team in tackles and in rushing yards for three years. In addition to being successful in his defensive duties, he was also the leading scorer of the Saginaw Valley League in 2004.

 

Four years of varsity baseball and three years of varsity hockey rounded out Kyle’s high school sports career. He played outfield on the baseball team for the Hawks and received All Area, All Conference, All District and Dream Team Honors. He was elected captain his senior year. His hockey career was highlighted when he and his brother played on the same line at the “Frozen Four” state semi-finals in 2004. He earned ten varsity letters during his high school athletic career. Kyle will attend Saginaw Valley State University and play linebacker for the Cardinals.

 

Kyle thanked his family, friends, teammates, and the entire Hawks coaching staff for recognizing his potential and for supporting and encouraging him to give his best.
