Kyle was a two-way starter and co-captain for the 2006 Viking Division 3 District Champions. During his varsity career he was a versatile performer playing quarterback, wide receiver, and defensive back  at both corner and safety. He also kicked extra-points. During his senior season he threw for 1,400 yards and ran for another 700. Defensively, he shared in the team lead with 4 interceptions and was involved in 48 tackles. Kyle is a “fierce competitor and played his best in the biggest games.”

As a student athlete at Cadillac HS, Kyle participated in community activities such as Project Christmas, flag-football for elementary school age students, and summer basketball camps for younger kids. He earned a 3.8 GPA and was a Junior Rotarian. Kyle was also a member and captain of the basketball team earning All Conference recognition in 2006 and 2007. He helped lead his team to a conference championship his senior year.

Kyle thanked Coach Webb and the rest of the coaching staff which included his father, for “being there and pushing me to be the best I could be every game.” He thanked his teammates for truly being a team. He also thanked his father and mother for never missing a single game, and being there for all his victories and defeats. He also thanked his sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins for, “their continuous love and support.”
