Keontre’ started football when he was seven years old. He has attended several camps in the summer to improve his skills and technique. He also attended Football University and was coached by Andre Rison.
Keontre’ was a football captain, and MVP at Mona Shores.
He also participated in basketball and track. In track, he ran the 110 meter hurdles, high jumped, and ran in the 1600 meter relay. He was named All Conference three years.
Keontre’ thanked his brother and step-father for not missing a game. He thanked his mom and dad for “always encouraging and supporting me my whole life.” He thanked the whole coaching staff of Mona Shores High School for “the encouragement and pushing me that extra inch.” He said, “I want to thank all of my family and friends who have always been there to support me.” Keontre’ will attend Grand Valley State University.
