2011 Dylan Neff

Dylan is the son of Tom and Carrie Neff. He has two sisters, Shantelle (24), and Brianna (20), and two brothers Dakota (13) and Drake (4).

Dylan started his football career at age eight with a youth tackle football program. He has played every fall since then. It was clear early on he had an intense passion for the game. His varsity career began as a sophomore, where he started on both sides of the ball for the Dutchmen and continued to do so for the rest of his high school career. For the 2010 season he was Captain and was also named MVP of the team. He broke several records at Manchester including most career sacks at 23 and tackles for loss at 38. 

Dylan broke the school’s record for bench press lifting 225 pounds 21 times, and dead lifting 300 pounds 28 times. He was a four-year varsity wrestler. He was captain of his team his senior year and was a two-time state qualifier, placing second in the state at heavyweight in 2010. He was also a three-time conference champ.

Dylan said, “I would like to thank my parents, all of my family and all of my coaches throughout my high school career. I would like to personally thank Coach Gall, Coach Blue, Coach Porter, Coach Bossory and Coach Maghes. I would also like to thank my wrestling coaches Coach Vlcek, Coach Bunn, and Coach Bearse.”

Dylan will continue his football career at Northwood University.
