Bob grew up in the Lansing area and attended Potterville HS.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University. His first coaching job was at Bammel Middle School in Spring, Texas where he coached football, basketball and track. After moving back to Michigan in 1990, he coached JV Basketball at Buckley Community School in Northern Michigan. He then took a job at Frankfort High school as the head varsity basketball and JV football coach. His first varsity football head coaching position was at Brethren High School in Manistee County. He is currently the head varsity football coach at Reese HS.
    In his nine years at Reese, Bob’s teams have qualified for the state playoffs eight times advancing to the semi-finals in 01, 04 and 05. He has been named MHSFCA Regional Coach of the Year in 00, 01, 04, 05, 06 and 07. His record at Reese is 75-24.
    Bob and his wife Noreen have been married for 24 years. They have two son’s, Andrew (21) and Derek (18). “I have been extremely blessed to have married such a caring and supportive woman. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to coach both my sons.” He said, “What an honor, to be named head coach of the 2009 East All Star Team. I would like to thank the coaches association for this great opportunity. It is nice to know that after 25 years of coaching my efforts have not gone unnoticed. I look forward to working with the coaches and players associated with this great game.”
