Brandon was in the Romulus Flyers Junior football program through eighth grade. In his junior year, Summit Academy began it’s football program with Brandon at quarterback, a new position for him. In his senior year, Brandon played running-back. He finished the season with a total of 1,444 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns. He also played defensive back and second string quarterback. Brandon said, “Some of my greatest accomplishments in football were the All Conference Medal I received after the football season and the Player of the Week award from the News Herald and Detroit Free Press for gaining over three hundred yards back-toback two weeks in a row.”

Brandon participated in basketball and baseball, was in Summit’s concert and jazz bands and was a member of the drum line team. He also plays the drums for his church. Brandon thanked, “God for blessing me with the talent and strength to play football. My family, for their never-ending love, prayers and support, all of my teammates for always being there, the Summit fans, staff and administration for their encouragement and support and a special thanks to Coach Jim Carlisle and the coaching staff for their persistence and influence in making me into the player I am today.”

Brandon will attend Defiance College where he will study criminal justice and continue his football career.
