Towfek was a three-year starter for the Fordson Tractor football team. Towfek has always been an outstanding football player. Every year since the seventh grade Towfek has played almost every position on the field from fullback to defensive tackle. As a starter for the Tractors Towfek helped them to a 23-9 overall record, which included a league championship, two playoff berths, and two-back-to back district championships. As a sophomore Towfek lead the team with 7.5 sacks. His junior and senior years he was voted to the Dearborn Press and Guide All City first team and was selected to the Mega Red All League first team in 2002-2003. Towfek was honorabe mention on the 2002 Detroit News All West team. As a senior Towfek was voted to the All West first team. Towfek recorded 90 tackles (30 solo), forced five fumbles recovered four, and had eight sacks as a senior.
Towfek thanked his mom and dad and his brother Ramzi, “for telling me to never give up no matter how hard it got. He was always there for me.” Towfek also thanked, “all the coaches who have helped me through the years.”
